Eric C. Mettenbrink

Eric C. Mettenbrink graduated from the University of Texas at Austin in 2000 having majored in History.  He received his J.D. from the University of Houston Law Center in 2003.  A civil litigator emphasizing his practice in business and commercial litigation, his representative experience includes representation of national and regional financial institutions, businesses, real estate developers and individuals in a broad area of litigation matters including banking, Uniform Commercial Code, Truth in Lending Act, Fair Credit Reporting Act, lender liability, arbitration matters, commercial law, bankruptcy claims, consumer rights, lien disputes, Deceptive Trade Practices Act, Debt Collection Practices Act, fraud, usury, contract disputes, commercial lease disputes, probate matters and general business disputes.

Eric has successfully represented clients before federal and state trial courts.  Eric is a member of the Texas Association of Bank Counsel, the Texas Young Lawyers Association, Houston Bar Association and is admitted to practice in all Texas State Courts and in the United States District and Bankruptcy Courts for the Southern, Eastern, Northern and Western Districts of Texas.  Eric has also provided pro bono representation regarding family law and probate matters.
